Since it’s inception in the spring of 2001, Brooklyn Metro Chamber Orchestra has performed regularly and is one of the longest performing small ensembles in New York. In 2011, the primary mission of the orchestra narrowed it’s focus to solely bring classical music to the residents of Brooklyn; a community that did not have local access to affordable and professional classical music.
In an effort to identify more closely with the Brooklyn community and after considerable debate, the Board of Directors has decided to remove the word Metro from our title.
Say hello to the newly named Brooklyn Chamber Orchestra.
We look forward to 20 more years of world class performances and look forward to seeing you soon.
